Stau liniștit căzut pe gânduri

Și-ntreb ce-aduce primăvara

Și-ncep să scriu câteva rânduri

Chiar până când mă prinde seara.

Când seara-ncepe să se lase

Tot mai aprins se simte dorul,

Mă uit la ceas,...trecut de șase!

Tu n-ai venit să schimbi decorul!

Și noaptea mai aproape vine,

Cu insomnii, ca niciodată,

Cu gândul am rămas la tine,

La chipul tău plăcut de fată

SI IN ENGLEZA

I sit quietly in my thoughts

I wonder what spring brings

I'm starting to write a few lines

Even until the evening comes.

When evening begins to leave

Longing is the longing,

I look at the clock, ... past six!

You didn't come to change the decor!

And the night is coming,

With insomnia, as never before,

With the thought I stayed with you,

Like your face, girl.
